The Role
We are looking for a Bilingual Sales Development Representative to join our team. As an SDR, you will be responsible for identifying potential customers, generating new business opportunities, and managing leads through the sales pipeline. You will work closely with the sales team to ensure that our company’s sales goals are met.

Responsibilities
This role will act as the first point of contact for new business prospects and focus on prospecting and generating qualified leads. The successful candidate will do the following:
Identify potential customers and generate new business opportunities for the company
Contact and qualify potential customers
Conduct outreach to hundreds of prospects weekly
Arrange meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and sales executives, and follow up on leads
Track progress towards meeting sales goals
Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for reaching sales targets
Use customer relationship management (CRM) software to manage leads and sales activities
Ensure that emails are of high quality, and continue to optimize messaging (e.g., great subject line that catches the readers attention, personalized messages, clear Call to
Stay up-to-date on market trends, competition, and industry developments
Provide regular reports on sales activities and results to management
Attend (virtual) trade shows and conferences to network with prospects
Provide market feedback/insights to assist in growth strategy and marketing content
Qualifications
1 to 3 years’ relevant experience in B2B Sales related to Engineering or Electrical Industry
Must be Bilingual EN/FR with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French; ability to listen, understand and formulate clear propositions/positions
Proven track record in building and sustaining client relationships
Possess a self-starter attitude with ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
Experience working with CRM platforms (HubSpot) and using LinkedIn for sales, or other similar prospecting applications while keeping track of leads
Strong presentation skills and ability to clearly present ideas and solutions to both internal and external business groups
Experience or knowledge in Engineering or Electrical Industry is a strong asset
A desire to learn and grow in the sales field
